HOW DID YOU TWO GET INTO REAL ESTATE?
Back up to mid 2020. Clint and Stacy are about 6 years into operating Outlaw Outdoors, their fishing tournament production company. Many of the fishermen knew they owned a lake house on Rayburn and would commonly ask questions about buying a property around the lakes area. Clint got the idea to get his real estate license and sell "a couple properties a year." Because he had no intentions of it being a major income producer, Clint casually took his online real estate classes as he had time and became licensed in December of 2020. He immediately signed on with Keller Williams as a licensed REALTOR®.
Year number one went right on pace with 4 closings - just about as many as Clint had planned on. Roll into 2022 and things changed! The combination of a hot market and some good listing made for a busy year. It didn't take long before Stacy realized Clint needed a little help, and she got her license in May of 2022. By the end of year number two, Clint, with Stacy's help, had closed 26 transactions! Year three showed continued growth as Clint and Stacy closed 29 transactions.
Remember Clint's idea to close "A couple deals a year" as a side hustle? That side hustle turned into a fulltime job on top of the other fulltime job PLUS the obligation of Outlaw Outdoors. Last year, 2024, was an absolute amazing year that neither of them dreamed would happen. The Outlaw Team, still just Clint and Stacy, closed 39 transactions for $10.8m in volume. In the mix of all of the madness in 2024, Clint got his broker's license and is now the licensed broker for The Outlaw Team, LLC.
"How do they do it" many people ask. Clint has a pretty simple answer, "We hustle." Stacy was overhead saying to a client one time, "If we just didn't have to sleep, we could so much more done."
